STEAMROLLER PARK

Public BBQ

Nestled in the cooler Adelaide Hills, Steamroller Park delivers a timeless charm that has captivated generations of families. The park's iconic steamroller stands as the star attraction, inspiring countless fantastical driving adventures for children who clamber aboard this beloved plaything that has remained virtually unchanged for three decades. The fenced playground offers engaging equipment spread across shaded areas beneath established trees, while barbecue facilities and plenty of seating create ideal spots for family gatherings. What truly sets this small but engaging park apart are its remarkably fancy public toilets, genuinely impressive facilities that have earned Adelaide Hills Council genuine praise from visitors. Located conveniently near Stirling's city centre with cafes and amenities nearby, the park offers a perfect hill retreat, though the limited parking reflects its popularity among locals seeking that perfect blend of nostalgia and practical family recreation.
